Our Roadmap of Change

Successful change processes always follow a three-way-logic:

1. Creating a common understanding of the starting point: “Why should we change?”
2. Developing an attractive image of the future or a viable target state: “Where should we develop to?”
3. Work out a tailor-made path to lead the organization and its people from the starting point to the target state.

Such processes never follow a linear process. Developments always happen in loops, they require ongoing observations, course corrections and a holistic or systemic understanding of organizations.

Change Inside and outside the skin

Successful change processes need balanced attention on visible issues such as structures, processes, systems, etc. – we call this “outside the skin” – as well as on things that are not as easily visible as behavior, beliefs, assumptions of success, etc. – this is what we call “inside the skin”.
